The short version

• Agent Theatre collects nothing. The CLI, VS Code extension, Claude Code plugin and MCP server run on your machine, listen only on 127.0.0.1, and send no telemetry. Events carry file paths and counts, never file contents, prompts or command bodies. The one piece of text they carry is a short excerpt (at most 240 characters) of the agent's closing message, shown on the stage so you know what it asked you; it stays on your machine like everything else.
• This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Every font, image and sound is served from this domain or generated in your browser.
• Clips you export stay with you. Recording and sharing happen in your browser; nothing is uploaded unless you choose to post it somewhere yourself.

Who is responsible

Agent Theatre is a free, non-commercial passion project and open-source (MIT) software, maintained by Shreyas Sawant. Contact for anything about privacy: shreyassaw@gmail.com.

What this website processes

• Request logs. Our host, Vercel (United States), records the IP address, user agent, time and page of each request to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, and keeps them for a short period, never more than 30 days. Legal basis: legitimate interest in running a secure website.
• Settings in your browser. The stage remembers small preferences, such as whether it has already suggested turning sound on, in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device.

We do not sell or share personal data, run advertising, or use cross-site tracking.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR or California law) you can ask for access to, correction or deletion of personal data about you, object to processing, or complain to your data protection authority. Email us and we will answer within 30 days.

Children

Agent Theatre is developer software and is not directed at children under 16.

Agent Theatre is MIT-licensed. The stage bundles third-party open-source code, listed with its licences in THIRD_PARTY_LICENSES.txt.
