The problem
An agent session is a wall of logs
Reads, edits and test runs scroll past faster than anyone can follow. Did it run the tests after its last change, or just say it was done?
0:01 Read src/auth/session.ts

What it is
Your repo becomes a little town
Folders
become districts
Files
become buildings
Tests
become lighthouses (“beacons”)
The agent
walks, hammers, runs tests, chases gremlins
If the agent says it’s done but no test has passed since its last edit, a gremlin hides behind it. Runs locally; nothing leaves your machine.
New in 1.8
The Halloween stage
- Purple houses with lit windows
- Flickering jack-o’-lanterns
- Bats circling overhead
- A ghost-white gremlin when a test fails
Suggested first until 2 November, then always under “All sets”.

Jump scares
About once a minute: a ghost swoops at the screen, lightning cracks, a giant jack-o’-lantern rises, or a burst of bats flies out.
Scares on
One tap turns them off, and it remembers your choice.
They never play with reduced motion on, or while a replay is paused.

A livelier lead
While the agent thinks, Pip strolls round its building, looks it over, then stretches, spins and dances.
Also fixed: the set picker in VS Code now scrolls properly inside the panel.
Twenty-one stages · a cast of twelve
After the run
Review it, file by file
Press Changes for a map of every file the agent touched: grouped by folder, sized by lines changed, coloured new, edited, deleted or read.
Click a file to see its diff, then copy the summary as Markdown or post it on the pull request.
Less scrolling through logs, so staying in the loop is less of a chore.
